BlackJack Mounting Instructions Save & Print

  1. Place the flashlight inside of The Blackjack.
  2. Place the visor in the "Down" position.
  3. Place lens assembly of the light next to down angle of shield. When in correct position the lens assembly of the light will rest in the ear arch of the helmet, directly below the visor mount assembly, with the visor touching the front of the light when the visor is down.
  4. Secure all three setscrews. Caution must be given NOT to OVER TIGHTEN any of the setscrews. The 3-point contact design allows for SNUG screws without penetrating or damaging the material of the helmet brim.
  5. On MODERN style helmets when in the correct position the light will touch the brim at both the rear and front of the light, along with The Blackjack holder to complete the STABLE 3-point contact.

Double Down
Mounting Instructions Save & Print

  1. Visualize and thoroughly clean area to apply Double Downs, making sure NOT to interfere with reflective stripes on helmet.
  2. Remove adhesive backing, and press firmly to surface of helmet, visualize that all portions of adhesive is in contact with helmet.
  3. IMPORTANT adhesive bond strengthens with time, allow AT LEAST 12 hours set up time prior to use. Will reach 100% adhesion in 72 hours.
  4. AVOID removal and re-attachment, this SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the adhesive ability of the Double Down.

  1. Select which helmet adapter works best with desired helmet style, attach to helmet.
  2. Place light loop in helmet adapter.
  3. Affix adjustment gear so that light will point in desired direction.
  4. Select, and install adapters if needed for light size.
  5. Tighten all set screws to SNUG.  Be careful not to OVERTIGHTEN set screws, helmet, or light damage may occur.
